Babel’s Barn was location for this dark, rustic chic wedding. I fell in love with the upstairs loft with the moody aesthetic.
The best part of the day was the photoshoot with the 3 flower girls. NOTE TO FUTURE BRIDES/GROOMS : Dress your flower girl/girls in tutus. It’ll photograph like THIS.
Kim + CJ
I photographed a wedding Kim was a bridesmaid in in Arizona 4 weeks before her own. She contacted me 3 weeks before her wedding and booked me, and rest is history.
The overall aesthetic of this GORGEOUS Barn wedding was one to remember. The people, the atmosphere, the decor, it was all perfect.
Their reception was unique with a Pancake bar topped with milk and donuts. Who doesn’t want breakfast for dinner?
Let’s just say, I am SO glad fate happened and this wedding fell into my photography lap. :) ENJOY!
Candace + Jose
Meet Candace and Jose.
These two tied the knot in Nogales, Arizona in July, 2018. I was invited down to photograph their special day and I was SO stoked to do so!
WE STAYED AT JOHN WAYNE’S old Ranch in Nogales for two nights! The ladies got ready at the ranch (Pictured) and it was a rainy but beautiful morning. The amount of peaceful it was out there is indescribable. I felt extremely lucky to be there.
The entire day was filled with happy.
Enjoy a little trip through this wedding day!
Lauren + Britton
Meet Lauren and Britton.
These two were married on April 28th, 2018 and I had the privilege of shooting their special day.
Downtown Omaha was location for this city wedding. The girls got ready at Magnolia Hotel where I spent my morning with them. As their look came together with patterned and solid dresses complete with green flower crowns, the bohemian-elegant look started to shine.
This wedding took place with Ceremony and Reception held at Founders One Nine just a couple of blocks away from the Magnolia. The industrial venue gave the photos that “look” we all crave.
Just at golden hour when the sun was fading, I took the couple just across the street to shoot their end of the night couple photos. I LOVE how dark and moody/golden they are. It goes to show you don’t always need an elaborate background to make something beautiful.
Congratulations to Lauren and Britton on their marriage!
Angela + Chase
Meet Angela and Chase.
If I could describe their wedding day in one word it would be “bright.” The decor, the family and friends, the lights…it was all bright and cheery.
Camarillo, CA was location for this BEAUTIFUL wedding day. I started the day at the Bride and Groom’s home photographing the bride and her bridesmaids as they got all beautified before we made the trip to the venue. (McCormick Home Ranch.)
The venue is a generation home rented out specifically for weddings and it is STUNNING. Im not even sure pictures do it justice.
Angela is full of personality, so we made some magic happen at “magic hour” as she danced in the golden sunset. Chase joined soon after across the road as the final gold struck the sky. Their nighttime outdoor reception GLOWED.
If you like vintage, boho chic, glam, and personality….this wedding had ALL of that and more!
Cheers to Angela and Chase!
Tracy + John
Meet the Stauffers.
They were married on May 19th, 2018 in Seward, NE.
This album is a tear-jerker as we spent a lot of the day remembering Tracy’s late mother, Stella. We even made a trip to her grave so she could see the bride on her wedding day. It was an emotional scene, but so sentimental and beautiful at the same time.
The light pinks and pastels made this wedding come together with a vintage flare at the reception. The head table was complete with a wooden pergola at the center of the room. I gathered a bunch of detail shots for this album because they are some of my favorites.
If you want to impress guests like this couple, hire a local coffee shop to serve iced coffee to guests when they arrive at the reception. Us photographer/videographers were in coffee HEAVEN.
Congrats to Tracy and John on their marriage!
Taylor + Tyler
Meet Taylor and Tyler (TJ).
Their story as told by Taylor....
TJ & I have known each other since we were little kids—our parents are best friends. Beings there is an age gap, we never became friends until I was 21 one night at a Backroads BBQ with my Mom.
My Mom was about to sit next to him, when he asked if I would instead. We hit it off right away and talked all night. When my Mom was about to leave, she asked TJ to give me a ride home. I, of course, wasn’t opposed to the idea, so I went along with him.
I was staying at my Dads that night, so on his way through the gravel roads he decided to take a detour. We went stargazing in a hidden field that holds the prettiest views in Cedar County if you ask me. We talked for hours and he asked if he could take me on a date—the rest is history.
That Field will always hold a special place in my heart because on June 30th, 2017 he took me back and asked me to be his wife.
Kaitlyn + Sean
Meet Kaitlyn and Sean.
Their wedding day was hands down one of my favorites. This LAID BACK couple welcomed me with open arms as they celebrated their big day. Kaitlyn said all day “I just want my wedding to be fun for everyone.” …She delivered.
The wedding ceremony and reception took place at the Old Mattress Factory in Omaha, NE. It was a perfect industrial/rustic location for their wedding day.
The HIGHLIGHT of the day started when we walked across the street from Ameritrade Center (A baseball stadium Downtown Omaha) for wedding party pictures. The couple really wanted pictures inside of the stadium, so we made it happen. They were pretty stoked when the team then stopped the game to sign the game baseball for the couple. The whole wedding party then waved and made it on the big screen/TV. Once in a lifetime wedding experience right there!
Congratulations again to one of my new favorite couples!!
