My 2018 Gallery show was a hit!
I want to thank my family and friends for your support and love over these past 5 years of photography. I am living my dream because of all of you!
Cassandra Mae Events gets a special shoutout for the decor/organization of the show. It came together beautifully.
Location: TURBINE FLATS PROJECT - Lincoln, NE
Welcome to my Photography Studio!
When I am not traveling and photographing, I am usually found here with pajamas and a coffee editing away to some indie folk music…
This right here, is my happy place.
Welcome to my home!
In-home sessions are my favorite, so I wanted to show you all where I have been shacking up for the past 3 years. My vintage apartment is my comfort place. Enjoy these photographs taken by Ella Johnson (A local Lincoln Photographer).
Everything captured has some sort of meaning to me. Pictures include my Grandma’s jewelry box, my great uncle’s dresser where my jewelry sits, paintings and creations by me and my family, and much more. I could go on for awhile!
Come on in!
Meet the Alpacas of the Heartland.
My friend Megan and I did a wine/cheese night and watched alpacas graze in their pasture. Yep, I know, it sounds unusual, which is why the event was made for us. We wore matching alpaca shirts and set up our picnic complete with coffee infused wine. MY KIND OF FRIDAY NIGHT!
After spending the weekend in Durango, CO this past January, I have fallen in love with these awkward animals. I was thrilled to find out this Alpaca farm is just 1 hour from Lincoln!
Meet the Hartington Hotel.
I tripped it back to my hometown of Hartington, NE to visit my parents and take a tour of the town's historic hotel which has been sitting vacant for over 20 years due to an indoor fire in the 90's.
A local couple, Erin and Ben Schroeder, who are Veterinarians and parents of two boys, have recently taken on this renovation project that others may have been intimidated by. They were kind enough to let my boyfriend Jordan and I tour the progress the old Hotel has made. It will be completed this year. (2018)
Believe it or not, this was my old daycare. My care-taker used to live in one of 4 apartments in the basement back in the 90's. I had never seen the inside of the hotel lobby, though, as I was very young. The tour was special to me for this reason!
I was informed during the tour that a couple of weddings this year I am booked to photograph have already booked rooms here, so, be ready for some "after" photographs to hit the website this year!
